Donatello

Donatello also executed, along with his disciples, Mikelotstso Mikelotstsi, several tombstones in the churches, among them notable monument razvenchannogo Pope John XXIII: he served as a model for numerous tombstones that emerge from the XV and XVI centuries, many churches in Italy.

The last years of his life spent Donatello in Florence, working to a great age, died in 1466 and was buried with great honors in the church of St. Lawrence, decorated with his works.
